Dismissed

Note: There is no Discipline Book for the area that Moses was serving in, lodged with the County Record Office in Maidstone, so I cannot find out why Moses was dismissed. The going rate for a full Police Pension after 25 years Service was around £45 per annum. Moses of course never received this because of his dismissal.

Henry Walter Charles  Kitney     1919 1930

Served in the Kent Constabulary at Rainham, Sevenoaks, Westerham Hill and Biggin Hill and also served in the army and saw service in Egypt in circa 1917.

It is thought that his father Henry Joseph Kitney saw service in he Grenadiers in Canada in 1878. The family have a lapel badge with the inscription Grenadiers, Canada, 1878.
